Awaiting the storm

Hello Everyone! A big storm is heading our way and we will probably be snowed in tomorrow. Oh well! That's Indiana!

Henry has had a runny nose for a couple days now. He's at the age where he tells me that he needs medicine! Other than the cold, he is acting just fine. He did talk about going to Nana and Papa's today, so I think he is feeling okay.

Eddie seemed a little better today. He's really liking his music lately and loves to dance. Actually, he just stands in one spot and bounces up and down, but it's to the music! Henry tells him to "shake your bootie"! It's so cute!

Well, for those of you who live in warmer climates, we will let you know how much snow gets dumped on us tonight and how long we are going to be stuck at home!

...long night

Well, Eddie (and Mommy) had a very long night. The wind was blowing so hard and it was so loud in his bedroom that he could not sleep. Unfortunately, he does not sleep well with me either. So, I tried to console his tired little soul, but is was no use! He could not sleep with all that wind. It would not have made a difference if Eddie slept or not, because I would have been up all night anyway wondering if the siding on the house was blowing off or if there was a tornado heading our way! I would not have slept due to the fact that I worry too much. Oh, by the way...this is Angie writing the entry. You didn't honestly think that Derek was up all night, did you?

Boy Helps Mother

Henry decided tonight to help his mom do the dishes. He is such a great helper! Edison's fever finally went away. Keep those comments coming and we appreciate all the feedback.

Play Basketball!

Henry's official new saying is "Dad play backetball". Yes in this case basketball is spelled correctly in quotations. All he wants to do is play basketball. He may be the next Steve Nash before it is all said and done.

Edison is starting to play basketball right along with Henry. He is feeling better today. His temperature has been as high as 101 today. It is currently 100. We hope he gets rid of it soon. His fever has been lingering for the last three or four days.

Angie went to the movies today and saw "P.S. I love You". She said it was a chick flick. I watched two ball games today. They were the first ABC NBA games of the new year. Each game was decided by three or less. Great games!

Responses needed: Today Angie said Edison was moody just like me. I told her she used the wrong pronoun (me). She told me I was using teacher talk and that people don't use that talk in everyday conversation. We need some outside opinion. Is that teacher talk or not?

I think we need to clarify the "pronoun" conversation. I (Angie) was joking around with Derek and told him that Eddie was being moody like him. Derek then said that I used the wrong pronoun and should have said that Eddie was moody like "me". In other words, Derek was saying that I was moody and Eddie is like me, not him.

S like in SNAKE

Henry has begun to recognize his first letter. He notices S's everywhere. He will say, "Look Dad it's like a snake!" He knows what an H is because he recognizes it from his name, but he doesn't know what the letter is.

Eddie has a Fever

Today Edison woke up with a 104.7 temperature. He has a high-grade fever for the last three days. Angie took him to the doctor yesterday. Our doctor didn't find an ear infection or throat infection. Let's hope he gets better soon. A Burgette mystery illness has struck again.
